Candice Chapa
Hello Wonderful Roadrunners! My name is Candice Chapa and I am your school Counselor at Harlem Elementary. I have been in education for 20 years. About half of that in Special Education and the other half as a campus Math Specialist. I have received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at University of Houston main campus and University of Houston Clearlake. I am married with 3 wonderful children and have 2 pets, a dog named Snookie and a cat named Jazz. I am very excited to be your counselor and look forward to helping you, your teachers, and your families with your social, emotional, and academic needs. I will start by encouraging positive character traits which are very important for us all to learn to be nice individuals and to make the right choices.
